September 23rd, 1963                     “Delighting in God’s Commandments”                        Mr. N. Daniel

Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

Mary was at home when the angel came. Will our children be in the cinema when an angel wants to visit us. You can easily kick away God's blessings. A certain contractor did it and died. Hosea 5:4 "They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord" The spirit of whoredom is the cause for their failure. Isaiah 33:6. Psalm 112:1 '''Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments." Do you delight in God's commandments? God's word says, “Do not go to places where your body will dominate your mind.” If you develop certain instincts, one day like a tiger, they will pounce on you and overpower you. You will be lost.

We are living among the heathen. They sang songs about Krishna all through the night. Where is the possibility for their getting good thoughts?

Daniel 12:13 "But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days." God will judge you. God will support you, when you have the responsibility of raising a family. God looks at our hearts. God is disappointed at our thoughts. Why? Because our thoughts are not constructive . They are not constructive for God's kingdom. The woman with the issue of blood had a constructive thought when she saw Jesus. It was God's thought. God's thought will stand for ever.

Hitler's thought was to destroy England. Would God prosper it? One thought can build and another thought can destroy. May our thoughts be of God - constructive and such as stand for ever.
