Glorifying the MASTER

Shepherded - 88 years

PREFACE

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12)

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” God in His mercy has given us so much light from God’s word taught through the years from late Mr Daniel’s time. When we walk in the light, our hearts burn within us and we become aflame for God.  We must remember what Jesus said:  “Ye are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matt. 5:14, 16) When we follow the Lord in humble obedience, then, we can see God’s name glorified and magnified.

It is not enough to be mere recipients of the light but to be walkers in the light. It is good to examine ourselves in the light of the words of Jesus, “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matt. 6:23) After receiving so much light, if we do not obey God and do His will in every step of our life with a passion to glorify God, Jesus warns us that the light in us will become darkness!

A spiritually-minded person is a Kingdom-minded person, filled with a burden for souls and a heart-cry for revival. When we follow Jesus, He will teach us to deny ourselves and take up the cross in our daily life and follow Him. As we yield ourselves to God, our self and self-importance get crucified, we get smaller and God gets greater.

Any deviation from the truths which God has given us in this Fellowship, will spell disaster and bring death to one’s spiritual life.   Bro. N. Daniel said, “I don’t want to know any more truth than what I obey.” Bro. Joe’s heart-cry had always been, “Oh, I am not like Jesus!” His soul longed for a Christlike life. Mother Daniel’s words come to us with added force – “Learn Christ, Live Christ and Glorify Christ!” In the light of these statements, we must examine ourselves to see where we stand before God today. John says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” (3 John 1:4) Are we walkers or mere talkers? Let us mend our ways and set our hearts right and walk in the light and experience the Lord, who will help us to see greater victories and revival visitations as we call upon Him with clean hearts and pure conscience.

We have seen the great faithfulness of God in the past 88 years. Oh, that our eyes be filled with tears of gratitude and our hearts with thanksgiving and praise as we stand at the threshold of yet another new year of ministry!

We must examine our hearts and cleanse ourselves from all our selfishness, worldliness, vanity and pride. Let us intercede with the Lord for the need of the times we live in, to see His transforming power. Let us cry to the God of revival for this new year of ministry, to lift Jesus up.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go.” (Ps. 32:8)

ADVANCES IN THE MINISTRY

In the Amazon Forest, Guyana

Our first Sunday morning worship took place in “Bamboo Landing” which is a forestry work encampment in the midst of the Amazon Forest, in the hinterland of Guyana, South America, on the 28th of August. Around thirty indigenous people heard the Word of God.

The Lord helped Bro. John Daniel to go and preach in this remote place in November. After driving around three hours on rough dirt roads, they arrived at a clearing in the Amazon jungle where Bro. Monte runs a lumber mill. About fifty to sixty young people who work at the mill heard God’s Word attentively. We praise God that the Lord’s Word is being preached to this lumber crew every Sunday. Much prayer must go up for these needy people.

Our Spanish Broadcast

The Lord enabled us to start the first Spanish broadcast taking God’s word into Venezuela via our TV program. The Lord raised a faithful family from Venezuela who translate the programs into the Spanish language.  We are praying for Peru and also Brazil that the Lord will enable His Word to go out to these nations too. People from the region call and join into the times of fasting and prayer on Saturday nights. Let us pray that the good news of the gospel will reach all the nations in South America.

 In Myanmar (Burma)

A small team of our brothers and sisters is labouring in central Myanmar (Burma), in a city called Mandalay, which is the second largest city of Burma and one of the hotbeds of Buddhism. When the country went through a military coup in the midst of Covid-19 and faced complete lockdowns, our team turned their focus on teaching young students indoors by renting a wedding hall to accommodate about fifty students who came from various Christian denominations.

By God’s grace a few structures have been put up where our team is teaching and training those precious young people. In addition to the Bible classes, they are being given special training to learn English, music and computer.

The Lord has touched many of their lives and one of them said, “If there was no Covid-19, I would not have come to this hostel, but now the Lord brought me here for my salvation. I thank God for whatever He let happen in our country which is for our good.”

Let us pray for Bro. Munthang and his wife and the small team as they are undertaking the translation of our books into the Burmese language and that many souls will be touched and transformed by the Lord in this country of 54 million people.

Ministry among Burmese Refugees

Due to the unstable political situation in Myanmar (Burma), there has been a heavy influx of refugees into the North-eastern state of Mizoram. Our team from Aizawl, the capital city, has been visiting them and sharing the Gospel. A regular Sunday afternoon service and Sunday school for children in two refugee camps are being held. Please pray for the Lord’s gracious touch to transform these needy people to make them into soldiers of the cross.

Prison Ministry in Aizawl, Mizoram

As our Aizawl team prayed tenaciously with much burden to reach the inmates of the ten prisons in Mizoram, at last the authorities gave them the permit to enter the ten prisons to share the Gospel with the needy inmates. They visited and gave the Gospel at the Central Jail in Aizawl and in nine other prisons also, including two women prisons. We are given permission to conduct a Gospel meeting for the inmates of Aizawl prison every third Sunday. Let us pray  for this prison ministry that the Lord must touch souls and change their lives.

New Bookstall in Arunachal Pradesh

The Lord graciously helped us to go forward with faith and vision to open a bookstall in this suburb of Itanagar. This “Beautiful Books” facility is now functioning in a small rented shop in a strategic place, adjacent to the Northeastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology and right on the national highway. Let us pray that many needy people will be reached with the gospel.

Imphal, Manipur

God in His mercy has preserved our people and the prayer hall in Imphal, Manipur, in the midst of much arson and looting. It is very sad to see many thousands of people fleeing Manipur.  We need to pray much that Manipur will return to normalcy soon and that the word of God will increase in the midst of the confusion created with the intent to destroy all those who follow the Lord.  Let us pray that our people will grow in faith to see the angels of the Lord surround them.

Book Fairs in Andaman & Nicobar Islands

The Lord helped our team to conduct the first ever book fair in the Andamans and Nicobar Islands. It was a joy to see many local church pastors joining our team in this endeavour to reach the Andamans with the Gospel through our book fairs.

The book fairs conducted in the open air in Port Blair, Mayabunder, Diglipur and Rangat were greatly blessed of God. Many people of other religions also visited us and many Bibles and books went out.

Daman, Gujarat

The work in Daman, Gujarat, has been going on for many years in different school halls and apartments in an atmosphere of opposition and hatred by some religious fanatics. In 2019, the Lord granted a place of our own where around 150 people gather for the Sunday worship and for the midweek and Saturday prayer meetings in the prayer hall.

Many non-Christian families have turned to Jesus from their heathen background and drunkenness. Some who were tormented by evil spirits for years have been delivered by prayer. Our team is reaching out to around twenty-five villages near Daman. Let us pray that the light of God’s word will dispel the darkness in this needy state.

Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, near the Himalayan foothills, is a strategic place where one of our brothers and his wife have been posted to reach people with the gospel. Let us pray much for the ministry that faith will be exercised and that souls will be reached for the Lord in this needy town.

Raipur, Chhattisgarh

The Word of God has been going out in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, after one of our trained families has been posted there. The Lord graciously blessed the revival meetings. There were about fifty people, with a few students from IIT and NIT in our midst. They heard the messages and testimonies very attentively. Please pray for the deep touch of God’s spirit in their hearts.

Maktapur, Maharashtra

The Lord enabled our Pune-based team to go forward in faith to reach out to various villages of Maharashtra. After much prayer, three days of revival meetings were conducted in a village called Maktapur, which is situated about 180 km from Pune. People from several nearby villages attended the meetings and many non- Christians also heard God’s Word with rapt attention. There was a good response to the Gospel and many souls were touched at these meetings. Let us pray much as our team continues to labour among these people.

Outreach Ministry in North India

With a burden to reach the unreached tribes in the forest regions in the state of Jharkhand, a small team of our brothers is visiting them and giving them the Gospel once in three months.  Our brothers conducted meetings in three remote places and people came in walking long distances and listened to the Word. Please pray for the Lord’s touch on these needy people so that they may repent and become mighty witnesses for the Lord.

Hubli-Dharwad, Karnataka

In Karnataka, in the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad, our ministry has been going on for many years and precious souls have been hearing God’s word every Sunday. At the Carol service in Hubli-Dharwad in December, we had around 110 people in attendance, many of them were from IIT and from the local Medical and Nursing colleges, apart from the local people. Let us pray much for our centre here that many souls will be touched and transformed by the Lord and a deep work of God must be established here in the midst of the need.

Prayer Hall in Seeliyur, Tamil Nadu

Seeliyur is a remote village near Mettupalayam, where the ministry of the Lord has been going on for several years in a small room. Now the Lord in His mercy has given us a spacious hall where many can gather and hear God’s word. When we had revival meetings for the first time in Seeliyur in March, the hall was packed and the Spirit of God moved upon the crowds. Now many new people are attending our Sunday services and we need to pray that many will rise up to serve the Lord.

WORLDWIDE LABOURS

In the US

Let us pray much for the United States, that the nation will not depart from the ways of the Bible in exchange for the husks which the pigs eat. Many people are just existing without any hope in their lives, in a great moral abyss. Let us pray much as we seek to point people to repentance and to look up at Jesus who brings hope and purpose into one’s life.

Let us pray for the weekly mothers’ prayer meeting where several mothers gather to pray for their families and children.  The Saturday night fasting and prayer call is a blessing to many who call in for prayer as many are spread in far away places.  Let us pray for our magazine “Christ is Victor” which is placed on university notice boards for students to read about the Saviour who died for them. In addition, let us pray much for the “Lord’s Challenge” radio broadcast which goes out in many major cities in both the US and Canada, that many souls will be reached.  Let us pray for the TV program which takes God’s word over satellite transmission reaching many nations around the world.

Summer Retreat

The Lord blessed the summer retreat of six days as many sincere people from many parts of the country came to hear God’s word.  The Lord granted us a precious time in His presence away from the “noise of the world” and blessed His word and the special times of prayer calling on the Lord.   Many were seen going alone and praying and getting hold of the Lord in the grounds of the retreat centre.

Thanksgiving Retreat

The Lord enabled us to move forward in faith and hold the Thanksgiving Retreat in November, in spite of the Covid outbreaks around us resulting in the loss of life. The Lord brought many sincere souls to hear God’s word and granted us His presence. The Lord’s name was lifted up in our midst.

Easter Retreat

The Lord blessed the Easter Retreat as many hungry people gathered to hear God’s word from many parts of the nation. Several people came with their wives to hear God’s word from a local church.  It is only by clinging to the Cross that one is able to overcome the currents of destruction all around where little children are being attacked with all kinds of thoughts from a young age at schools, which lead them into total confusion early in life, aiming to destroy them.

Guyana, South America

The meetings held in November in the capital, Georgetown, were blessed of God. Several new souls came to hear God’s word as more of the neighbours are being reached with the gospel.  Let us pray much that people will be released from the powers of darkness and be set free at the foot of the Cross.  The Lord is helping our team of brothers and sisters who labour here as more and more souls are reached and new families come in to hear God’s word. Let us pray much for the team that they will be focused on the one and the only purpose for which the Lord has taken them to Guyana—to win souls for Him.

The memorial service of Dr. Danny was blessed of the Lord. We praised God for his life of faith as he landed in Guyana with just $100 in his pocket and learnt to exercise faith for all things. He laboured with faith and sacrifice reaching souls with all his heart. Let us pray that the university ministry will be blessed of the Lord and that many students will be touched for the Lord.

Melbourne, Australia

The Melbourne Retreat in October was blessed of God greatly. After the Covid break, it was a joy to gather in person from Perth, Deniliquin, Canberra, and the suburbs of Melbourne.

The Lord used Brother David Campbell and Bro. Rodney Bills as God’s word went out. We had three sessions of intense prayer along with the fasting prayer on Saturday night. Let us pray for the need of the nation that God’s word will be preached and will prevail in the midst of the need.

YOUTH & CHILDREN’S CAMPS

International Students’ Camp

Thousands of students kept pouring into Beulah Gardens from all parts of India, with some of them from North-East India travelling four days to be present at the students’ camp. The total number of registrations were nearly 7500, the largest number at our students’ camps.

It is a sight to see so many young people listening to the messages with earnest hearts, as the Word of God went forth with power. The Lord used Bro. John Daniel mightily as he poured out his heart in the messages. The discussion groups spilled over into the lawns and grounds around the hall and we had to erect shamianas to accommodate everyone. We were glad to see the young people participating actively in the discussions.

During the times of prayer, the Spirit of God was poured upon young people, and they lifted up their voices and cried to God.  Let us continue to pray for these young people that they will become soldiers of the cross.

Stuartpuram, Andhra Pradesh

God blessed the youth camp in a special way at Stuartpuram in August. Around 6000 young people gathered in the presence of God with hungry hearts. The Lord poured out His Spirit and it became difficult to close the meeting as many skipped their meal to spend their time in prayer.  We must pray for these young people that they will become mighty witnesses for the Lord through obedience to His word.

Karimganj, Assam

With a burden and prayer to see young people deeply touched, youth meetings were arranged for two days in November in Karimganj in Assam. Around 100 people gathered and heard God’s word. A local team of our brothers from Itanagar and Shillong laboured at these meetings.

Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh

Weekly Bible studies and Sunday evening services have been taking place for the students of the North East Regional Institute of Science and Technology for the past few years. The Lord graciously helped our Itanagar team to hold youth meetings for these students in the rented hall close to the university campus. Many needy students came with hunger and heard the Word attentively and sought prayer and counsel. The Lord must touch and raise these young students to be His witnesses.

Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

A three-day retreat was conducted in our centre for the students of a local university, where one of our sisters is teaching.  Several brothers from other North-Eastern states came and helped in the Retreat. The Lord granted and used His Word which touched many hearts. As the Spirit of God began to work in the young people, they came for counselling and prayer until 3.00 am in the morning. Please pray that these precious students will be transformed and become faithful witnesses for the Lord.

Aalo, Arunachal Pradesh

Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh is a picturesque town at the confluence of Sipu and Siyom River surrounded by hills and beautiful orange orchards. This is the headquarters of west Siang district. One dedicated family is labouring here. The Lord gave us three evening meetings and young and old attended the meetings. Many young widows and broken families with great desire and hunger heard the word and earnestly cried to the Lord for deliverance. Please continue to pray for abiding fruit.

Children’s Camps

Every year, children’s camps are conducted in several of our centres across India where thousands of precious little children and teenagers come under the Word of God. The Lord speaks to many of them and brings conviction of sin into their hearts. The Lord blessed all the children’s camps in several of our centres in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and also in Senapati, Manipur and in the Sundarbans in West Bengal.

LABOURS IN FAR-FLUNG REGIONS

Darjeeling, West Bengal

The Lord enabled us to have a few days of meetings in Darjeeling, West Bengal, in July. There were more than seventy people in attendance, with a few non-Christians who were present. People listened to the messages with earnest hearts. Many of them were touched and are now seeking the Lord.  Let us pray much for the Darjeeling ministry as souls are reached with the gospel.

Anantnag, Kashmir

The revival meetings in Anantnag during the Independence Day holidays were greatly blessed by the Lord. Some Hindus were present and they heard the Word for the first time. God blessed all the three sessions of each day by granting His presence and His Word. Several young people are repenting and confessing their sins.

Let us pray that the blessing of God’s word will spread far and wide and many more souls be touched and transformed as we pray for all the districts of the state of Kashmir.

Port Blair, Andamans

Every year we have been conducting revival meetings in our small apartment in Port Blair. This year, the meetings took place in a rented hall where many came and heard God’s Word. People value the biblical truths preached in the Fellowship. Many sought prayer and counsel for their spiritual progress. We need much prayer for the ministry in Andamans to see a real breakthrough over the powers of darkness.

Jamnagar, Gujarat

Every year, the Lord has been helping us to use the Independence Day holiday for conducting meetings for the migrant labourers and the local people in Jamnagar. This year we had a two-day retreat on August 14 and 15 and more than 160 people attended the meetings. The Lord granted His presence and used our brothers. The prayer sessions were blessed of God and many prayed earnestly for God’s touch in their lives. Please pray much for the continuing work of God’s Spirit in their lives to lead them to repentance and salvation.

Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The Lord granted His presence and His Word at the meetings here which gripped the hearts of many. The prayer sessions were a time of great blessing as the spirit of prayer was poured on the people. After hearing the messages, many were repenting and young people were counselled and prayed for. Please pray for a mighty breakthrough in the ministry here and for a harvest of souls.

Jammu, Kashmir

The Lord blessed the one-day retreat on the 18th of September in Jammu. Around 100 people gathered and the Lord blessed the retreat with His presence and His Word. The prayer sessions were owned of the Lord. Please pray that God may raise up mighty witnesses and  that God’s name be glorified.

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

The Lord blessed the retreat in Lucknow from October 23 to 25.  Around 200 people gathered from nearby and distant places. Many were seeking the Lord as they went alone and prayed late into the night. The Lord graciously gave His Word and His presence and blessed the Retreat.

Pune, Maharashtra

The Lord blessed the meetings in Pune in October, as many needy people from Pune and nearby towns and villages heard the Word with rapt attention. During the prayer time, people poured out their hearts and prayed.  Please pray that the Seed sown may bear fruit abundantly and that the Lord will raise up many who will take the gospel out to those who live in darkness.

Shillong, Meghalaya

The two-day Easter Retreat in our prayer hall in Shillong in April was blessed by God. The messages, Bible discussion sessions, testimonies and skits were a great challenge and blessing. Some needy souls earnestly sought the Lord. Much prayer is needed to have a breakthrough in our ministry in this capital city of the state of Meghalaya.

 Kolkata, West Bengal

The three days of revival meetings in Kolkata were blessed of God. About 170 people gathered from various places like Assam, Tripura, Sikkim, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Jalgaon, Karim Ganj, Durgapur and the Sundarbans. The Lord granted His presence and His Word and during the prayer sessions there was a mighty outpouring of the Spirit. Many came for counselling and prayer. Please pray for the continuing work of the Spirit to lead them to repentance unto salvation.

IN ANDHRA PRADESH & TELANGANA

Stuartpuram

We praise God for His blessing as a greater number of people were in attendance this year. They sat all over the vast hall and on the balconies, with a few thousands sitting on the grounds outside the hall.

God used Bro. John Daniel and other brothers mightily. As the messages went out with power, the spirit of repentance and prayer came upon the people during prayer sessions. The evangelists’ prayer meeting in the morning has always been a time of great blessing. The exhortations and warnings to keep the old landmarks of faith, sacrifice and obedience are very profitable as one yearns for the “good and faithful servant” greeting.

Vijayawada

The Lord greatly blessed the meetings and used Bro. John and the team of brothers mightily. Many attended from far and near. The special youth meeting at 7 am and the morning meetings at 10.30 am were greatly blessed and owned of God. The Lord’s presence was with us and His name was glorified. Let us pray for the wave of revival to sweep over the region and the nation.

Machilipatnam

The hunger and thirst in the hearts of the people who filled our large hall from many nearby towns and villages, overflowing into the streets was very touching. The Lord used Bros. John, Caleb and other brothers mightily and the Word went forth with power. During the prayer sessions, when the Spirit of God moved upon the crowds, the voice of prayer rose up as many prayed loudly with contrition of heart and repentance. Many non-Christians were also present.

Visakhapatnam

The long-awaited meetings in Vizag were blessed of the Lord. It was amazing to see hungry souls come to hear God’s word right from the first day. Bro. John Daniel spared two days for this city in the series of the campaigns in Andhra Pradesh. People from nearby districts and a few from Odisha and Chhattisgarh were also present on all four days. The prayer sessions during the morning meetings were blessed of God as people earnestly cried unto the Lord. We must pray that the spirit of revival must spread to the nearby states of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, impacting the whole region.

Apart from these large campaigns in Andhra Pradesh, revival meetings took place in several of our centres where hundreds of souls came under the Word of God. A team of our evangelists and trainees laboured at these places and the Lord used them to give the Word.

IN TAMIL NADU

With the burden to reach the small towns of Tamil Nadu, revival meetings were held at several of our centres like Annur, Seeliyur, Velliankadu, Pattiveernpatti, Dindigul, Sathur, Usilampatti, Avinashi, Kollapally, Tenkasi, Sriperumbudur and in Royapuram and Ashoknagar in the city of Chennai.

These meetings stirred many and proved to be a great blessing to the people in that area, as our halls overflowed with hungry and needy people who drank in the Word. Many non-Christians attended the meetings and the Lord granted His Word and His presence in each place.

Let us continue to pray for all our centres in Tamil Nadu that the Lord must grant us a hundredfold fruit out of these labours. May the Lord raise up many young people and others from Tamil Nadu to build God’s Kingdom, as the need is so great everywhere.

MAY RETREAT

The dear Lord blessed the May Retreat of 2023 in a very special way, and granted His presence and His Word. As people poured into Beulah Gardens,  the number of total participants who attended crossed 11,500, the highest ever in our May Retreats.  It is so touching and moving to see the hunger and thirst in the hearts of people, some of whom travelled thousands of kilometres. There were participants from other countries, spanning from the US to Australia.  The hall and the galleries were full from the beginning and many hundreds of people sat under the trees around the hall,  with their ears and hearts open to the Word of God.

The Lord used His servants, Bro. John Daniel and Bro. David Campbell and others mightily. More than ever before, we saw a mighty outpouring of the Spirit of prayer and the voice of prayer reverberated through the big hall, as many lifted up their voices and cried to God with tears during the prayer time. It was hard to close the prayer session, as people poured out their hearts before God. In the evenings and also at night, many people were found praying alone and in groups all over Beulah Gardens, in the lawns, grounds and in the hall. It was so awesome to feel the presence of God pervading all over Beulah Gardens.

The testimonies and reports of our brothers and sisters detailing their battles of faith and the victories won after much prayer, stirred our hearts. The testimonies were very challenging and the special songs from the Daniel 5 and from our team from North-East India and the Hindi songs from our team from North India were an added blessing. More than 470 people were baptized at the Retreat. We pray that God’s word will be written on people’s hearts and that the Saviour is glorified.

ON THE LITERATURE FRONT

As the demand for books keeps increasing, our press team was kept on their toes to produce more and more books in various languages like English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Odiya, Bengali, Guajarati and in other languages.  The spacious book warehouse in Beulah Gardens is getting filled with these beautiful books and sent to many different locations.

We are trying to print in more languages all the time and by God’s grace, we printed 16 new books, of which eight books were in the Odia language. Four new books have been printed in Telugu which were used in the book fairs and revival meetings in Andhra Pradesh, apart from so many Telugu books which had to be reprinted to meet the demands at the special meetings. The new English book “Remarkable Miracles and Notable Incidents” by Bevington was in high demand at the May Retreat, in addition to many other soul-edifying books.  Let us pray that many will be touched and pointed to Christ as they read these inspiring lives of those who walked with God.

BOOK FAIRS

In Guyana, South America

Our small team of brothers and sisters participated in the Berbice Expo 2022, the annual business expo in Berbice county of Guyana, by setting up a Beautiful Books booth. Many young people, families and pastors visited our booth and purchased Bibles and books. There was great hunger for the printed word of God among the people in the expo.

During the Christmas season, we had our “pop-up book shop” in three shopping malls. This was a great opportunity to meet many people in one place. Visitors were thrilled to find Bible-based gift items made available at reasonable prices.

A good stock of our Fellowship calendars, printed in India, was received well in time, and all the calendars were sold out before the New Year’s Day.

Let us pray that the word of God that was sown through this ministry will bring forth much fruit.

In the Andaman Islands

The Lord in His mercy helped our team to conduct the first ever book fairs in the Andamans and Nicobar Islands. The book fairs conducted in Port Blair, Mayabunder, Diglipur and Rangat were blessed of God. As our book fairs were held in the open area, we had people of other religions also visiting us and many Bibles and books went out.

The Lord helped our local Port Blair team of brothers and sisters to take part in the book fairs as God’s word went out and people were invited to come and hear God’s word every week.

In India

The Lord helped our team to conduct nine book fairs in the needy state of Odisha at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rayagada, Navaragapur, Jeypoore, Koraput and Paralakumundi. In all these places, people were so happy to see so many books and Bibles under one roof and many precious books and Bibles have gone out.

In Tamil Nadu we had book fairs in eight places—Trichy, Madurai, Palayamkottai, Nagercoil, Tuticorin, Coimbatore, Erode and Bhavani. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, we had eight book fairs in places like Vizianagaram, Narsapur, Bhimavaram, Nellore, Gudivada, Kakinada, Khammam and Ramagundam.

Our book fairs give us an opportunity to reach out to the local non-Christians and outsiders. Many Christians and pastors of various denominations visit us as they value our books highly. Let us pray for new souls to be touched through our book fairs.

ON THE MEDICAL FRONT

We praise God for our doctors and nurses who minister to the poor people through our Gospel clinics. It requires hard work and dedication to serve in our clinics. Much prayer must go up for our medical work in Anantnag in Kashmir, Ashoknagar and Royapuram, Coonoor, Velliankadu, Masinagudi, Gummidipundi and Beulah Gardens in Tamil Nadu, Sundarbans in West Bengal and in Sonauli, on the Indo-Nepal border, in Uttar Pradesh.

Medical camps are conducted in various places by our medical team of doctors, nurses and others who come to serve and minister to people in great need.  Many are given the gospel while being treated for their physical conditions.

Let us pray that many more medical missionaries will rise up to serve the Lord rather than live for themselves.

RADIO & TELEVISION MINISTRY

We praise God that our telecasts are sounding out God’s Word covering a greater part of the subcontinent of India in 15 languages on 19 TV channels, and on four TV channels in Nepal in the Nepali language. Our telecasts are reaching Bangladesh and Myanmar (Burma) also. The feedback is always very encouraging.

Our telecasts in the UK, Germany, Guyana, Jamaica and the satellite transmission covering many parts of the world are well received with much hunger and expectation. The television message is going out over the whole nation of Guyana and also in neighbouring Suriname and Venezuela.

The dear Lord continues to add His blessing upon our radio broadcasts that go out over many stations in America and Canada and 35 radio stations around Australia each week. Our radio broadcasts cover Papua New Guinea and it reaches Southeast Asia too. Our TV and radio broadcast goes out into North-Western Africa. Please pray for this unseen audience that the Spirit of God would awaken many to their need of a Saviour.

In addition to these radio broadcasts, the message of God’s love and power goes out via shortwave covering the US, Europe, China, and Africa. Let us pray much for the unseen congregation who hear God’s word.

OUR SCHOOLS

Our schools are run with the purpose of giving the Gospel to the students and impart to them the right values and priorities in life. When one has the fear of God implanted in their hearts and lives, God’s blessing will be there.  Many parents want to send their children to the Fellowship schools for the environment of Christian discipline and diligence.

We praise God for the good results in the Matriculation exam this year. Some of our schools have been producing 100% results every year at the 10th standard and Plus Two examinations. We praise God for the dedicated teachers who serve the children.

We are in need of teachers who will labour for the Lord and build great lives through prayer, exemplary conduct and excellent teaching.

CONCLUSION

While the Lord tarries, let us serve Him faithfully and lift up the Saviour of the world with every opportunity He gives us.  Life is short and only what we do for the Lord will last.

Let us watch and pray awaiting the Lord’s return. Oh, to be greeted with the words,

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant ... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!” (Matt. 25:21)
