Hosea 8th Chapter

Ten tribes separated themselves from Benjamin and Judah. These two tribes Benjamin and Judah are referred to as Judah here and the other ten tribes are called Israel or Ephraim. God calls Ephraim a wild ass. Ephraim was idolatrous, God speaks very severely about those that left Jehovah. Hosea 8:7, “For they have sown the wind; and they shall reap the whirl wind; it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.” They were enjoying an apparent freedom. Those who are not in God's will enjoy an apparent freedom. But the devil will be planning their ruin. When people leave God, they begin to sow the wind and they will reap a whirlwind one day. They will find that matters are not in their control any more and they will give themselves up to the hands of the devil.

When we leave the fundamental truths of God and build churches, they will become places of sin. 11th Verse. "Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin," To worship God in truth you must know the truth. One who doesn't know the truth cannot lead others to worship God in spirit and in truth. When one is truly born again, his soul gets instructed through the revelations of the Spirit. His prayers will be prophetic. He, no doubt, will have an attack of the devil. But if he still trusts in God and clings to God, the devil will leave him. He will get a divine interpretation of the Word.
Follow God’s intention and plan for you. When we are all in His plan, we will be perfectly dovetailed together and working together. Judah,
with all its faults, still followed God. Judah also was punished. The righteous may fall seven times but they will rise again. The wicked fall, never to rise again.

Your choices in life are most important. You must let God choose in every matter so that your spiritual life may be preserved.
