Walking at Liberty
"And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy
precepts." (Psalm 119:45)
David found out this truth that one who walks in
the Word of God walks in great liberty.
One who tries to establish himself in the truth of God inevitably
becomes a free man. You may be a
subordinate in your office but one day your thoughts will rule the office. Nobody knew that in the prison of Egypt was a poor-looking Hebrew who possessed such a heart and
mind that would rule the whole land of Egypt. It was because his
life was established in the precepts of God.
Is your life established in the precepts of God? When you are being established in the
precepts of God, do not be afraid of your place in society. God keeps you in obscurity till you are
established in the precepts of God. Then He will bring you out and your thoughts
will rule because they are not your thoughts but God's. Nebuchadnezar and
his son perished, but the young man who was
establishing himself in the truth of God ruled the kingdom. If you are getting established in the truth
of God, you will be a free man. Your
mind will work according to the light of God.
"Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not
slip" (Psalm 18:36). Your feet are
enlarged. You have a liberty in your
heart and a stability in your life. You
will never be a tail, you will surely be a head. There will be a power working in you. You will feel God in your heart. No power
can stop you when you feel the power of God in you. You will reign in this world. You may be in a prison but your thoughts will
be sought after. Are you developing
towards such an establishment? The more
you obey the Word of God without questioning it, the more you get
established. You are too small to
question God's Word. Angels tremble at
it. Jesus obeyed the Word.
