Witness by Life

"I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early." (Hosea 5:15)

God allows certain afflictions our way in order to make us seek His face. He wants us to acknowledge our sins. God wants us to be raised to the higher regions, where we can be in constant communion with Him. "In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God" (Jeremiah 50:4). When we miss God, we have missed all. We must weep for it. We must weep for not seeking God. Wait upon the Lord, seek His face. Our failures(sins of omission) are so great, we must weep for them. Our lives must show God to others. Don't leave God until He makes you a witness by life. "But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul" (Deuteronomy 4:29). Sometimes when we pray, we pray with a double mind. In the early stages there are two prayers going from us - the prayer of the mind and the prayer of the heart. The mind wishes to pray but the heart does not agree. But as we seek God the heart yields and the mind and the heart agree. Then we seek God with our heart and with our soul.
